1st ACM Celebration of Women in Computing: AfricaCWIC 2022<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The ACM Celebration of Women in Computing: AfricaCWIC is aimed at connecting women from diverse technical disciplines and encouraging them to pursue their education and profession in computing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The AfricaCWIC brings together women in the computing profession and related technical fields to exchange knowledge and experience and provide special support for women who are pursuing their academic degrees and starting their careers in computing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 1st<\/sup> Africa ACM Celebration of Women in Computing is highlighted on the theme: Building Revolutionary<\/strong> Digital Mindsets<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

AfricaCWIC provides a unique experience of the collective energy, drive and excellence that professional women share to support each other through a programme packed with insightful topics, engaging educational and networking activities. The AfricaCWIC event (VIRTUAL)<\/strong> was held on the 11th and 12th May 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Come meet like-minded colleagues supporting diversity in computing. The event includes a Hackathon<\/a>, Workshops<\/a>, Posters<\/a>, Doctoral Consortium<\/a>, Technical Talks and Panel Discussions, and is sure to have something for everyone. Our event will be held each year so why not join us for the next AfricaCWIC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
