2nd ACM Celebration of Women in Computing: AfricaCWIC 2023
The ACM Celebration of Women in Computing: AfricaCWIC is aimed at connecting women from diverse technical disciplines and encouraging them to pursue their education and profession in computing.
The AfricaCWIC brings together women in the computing profession and related technical fields to exchange knowledge and experience and provide special support for women who are pursuing their academic degrees and starting their careers in computing.
The 2nd Africa ACM Celebration of Women in Computing is builds on last years event. Last year the theme: Building Revolutionary Digital Mindsets was chosen to show how innovations can be used to change our world. This years theme will be released shortly.
AfricaCWIC provides a unique experience of the collective energy, drive and excellence that professional women share to support each other through a programme packed with insightful topics, engaging educational and networking activities. The AfricaCWIC 2022 event (VIRTUAL) was held on the 11th and 12th May 2022. AfricaCWIC 2023 will be held in October.
Come meet like-minded colleagues supporting diversity in computing. This year’s event includes Technical Talks and Panel Discussions from some of the leading minds in technology. There is sure to be something for everyone. Our event will be held each year so why not join us for the next AfricaCWIC.
